Im now at chapter 1061 and tbh im amazed. Chungmyung ilso duo is kinda cool. Do you guys think ilso will play an improtant role in defeating heavenly demon later?

 

Hello. I have a question.

Do I understand correctly that Cheongmyeong is an exceptional talent that is second only to Chun MA? Is it true that the five swords of Mount Hua and no one in the world will ever catch up with him and compete?
To be honest, it seems to me that this is logical. It's just that no matter how talented they are, they will never catch up with Cheongmyeong. I just remember that even Hye Yong (monk) was an unattainable goal for them in terms of talent, as Cheongmyeong himself said, therefore Cheongmyeong with experience should become a star for them.

At this rate every sect is having a problem of becoming weak. When the time comes will they even have enough people to fight against demonic sect?. Well I’m sure CM will do something somehow

I was actually wishing that either Tang Bo or anyone who is close to CM or one of the top 5 martial artist during CM’s time will also reincarnate. It was stated by the Bishop from the Ice Palace that 4 ceremonies were held in an attempt to revive Chun Ma. Since our grandpa was revived including the Heavenly Demon, that means that the other 2 ceremonies might have also awakened other ancestors as well. I don’t know if the last ritual that was performed by the Bishop before dying also counted, since it was only the body of Chun Ma (maybe a failed ritual?) that was shown.

 

Every time I hope for something like this they give me even greater despair. Aside from chungmyung Jang ilso is also a huge problem. I feel like if Jang ilso meets heavenly demon he would actually run anway and go crazy saying “if I can’t have the world might as well destroy it”. He’s a great villain but he should really die. Also does anyone remember the names of three great swordsmen aside from Chungmyung. Did the novel mention their name?

 

It's hard for them to catch up with CM because CM has hacks which is knowledge from his past life. No amount of pills or training can catch up to what he has. He's a genius in his first life then he is reborn with the knowledge he accumulated from his past life, apply that now = hacks in real life. He can train in much-refined techniques only he knows + his accumulating knowledge he can gain = a much better understanding of his martial arts that will lead to a higher realm he wasn't able to attain in his past life. Even if CM trains them they will only learn what they're capable of at their age. If they need to catch up they need to have same understanding of the techniques as CM does but even if CM tells them his understanding, they wouldn't really get it. Every character in this series has a different path on how they can improve themselves, forcing your understanding will hinder one's growth that's why CM only gives them hint.

I think CM will try to unite all of the people he can gather after he kills Ilso, I think he will learn that Cheonma is now alive during or before the death of Ilso. Also, I don't think the two of them will squash their feud just because Cheonma is alive. I just hope that he will reveal to anyone who he really is during that meeting because for me that's the only way he can unite the righteous sects.

 

Can I ask at what chapter jang ilso attack shaolin?

 

Do you think he could possibly swallow up the remnants of evil sects? It's just this updated version of Heavenly Alliance that is going to battle the Evils Sects and inevitably experience some losses doesn't seem enough.

If you mean the war between Gupashit (The Ten Great sects, that turned Nine) and the Evil Tyrant Alliance, it started more or less at 1579.

20 chapters later, Evil Alliance also attacks remaining disciples of Shaolin. (It concludes with an interesting outcome, I recommend to read it without spoiling)

Can somebody please tell us what is going on in recent chapters? Does Chung Myung and Jang Ilso meet?

 

sapaeryeon attacks wudang sect's base, cheonwoomaeng comes to assist, jang ilso (+some of his men) waits for cwm at the foot of the mountain, the group leaves chung myung behind to rescue wudang, cm and ilso drink together while cwm and sapa fight
(it seems like cm is persuading ilso to avoid the path he once took, i.e. only trusting himself)
