Sasha led Regen all around the convent, meeting the girls under her care. Only then did Regen realize what the convent was hiding. All the girls there are capable of handling mana. Eve had taken all the orphaned girls with mana under her care and hid them from the emperor's eyes. The emperor has over 200 knights imprinted to protect him, and Sasha needs her own people to take him down. The current number of the children she was caring for was 352, and there are other safe houses or convents she was sponsoring scattered around the empire. Now, all she needed was time as the youngest child was just 12 years old. Sasha then asked Regen if a princess who wants to rebel against her father is worth protecting. Regen knelt on one knee, and said yes. Sasha then told Regen that he deserves to live. Only then did Regen understand the meaning of their outing: to instill a sense of worth in living in him, even though he had been consumed by dishonor. Some of the mothers are alive, he imprisons them in a harem palace. There's also a rule that any women who goes to that area, whether accidentally or lured by somebody, when the sun sets, must stay on the harem palace. Then if she's unlucky, she might be one of the flowers that the emperor will pick that night. FL's mother is still alive, but she's a bit crazy.
