Spoiler: The Legend; The Giosa Series

Long ago, lived a blacksmith who was praised for setting foot on the level of Gods. The blacksmith was convinced that he would not lose against God when it comes to forging swords.
One day, God really reached out to this blacksmith.
God lent his power to the blacksmith. The power to make swords out of materials that could not be seen or touched like night and day.
God said,
[I shall grant you the same ability as me. Go and make the best swords out of it. This is my test for you.]
The blacksmith agonized over it for seventy days and seventy nights. Then over 100 years, ten swords were forged and carved out with special materials. The swords were all magnificent and has remarkable abilities that never existed before.
The blacksmith proudly showed his work to God. The God looked down at him and created two swords in the air at once. The two swords, was more beautiful and stronger than all of the blacksmith's swords combined.
Only then did the blacksmith kneeled. He repented of his arrogance of daring to look over God. God generously forgave the blacksmith and took him to the new world.
After the departure of the God and the blacksmith, the twelve "test" swords left in the world were called the Giosa series.
Ten Giosa swords which were created by the blacksmith, chose those with outstanding talent as their owners. However, the two Giosa swords that the God made did not accept and choose anyone as their master. It is said that the God's swords will lend their strength only to those who own and collected all the remaining ten Giosa swords.

Echinacea, a sword genius and the owner of Vardargiosa turns back the clock by collecting all of the ten Giosa swords in the legends of the Giosa series. Yeah when I read that part. Ooof. Feel so bad for Eki and Yurien...Royal family needs to burn in the 9th level of hell except Yurien. I am enjoying this novel so much.

 

I want to know if Eki mother is good person, because she doesn't seem harbor any affection towards Eki (or maybe both of her child). Also is she really Eki's biological mother?
If so, where's Eki got her pink hair from

 

Factssssss! Yurien is such a green flag tho!! even after everything had happened with eki and the demon sword, even if his friends had died by her hand, he still didn’t blame her. Only he knows about Eki's efforts and her suffering, and the only one who could see her soul!!(besides yuriens sword)
im really liking the novel! i love that the author actually put not only yurien's pov but also put effort in writing his part. i cant remember the last time i've read a ml's pov for more then half a page... lol

Yes, Echi/Eki's mom is her biological mom, so is her dad. I don't think the novel explicitly mentions why her hair is pink (I could be wrong), except that it made sense for her name to be Echinacea (pink flower). I think it's mentioned early on that Eki has a really good relationship with her family and the maids/servants who work at her house, which is also why she was so desperate to turn back time to prevent any innocent lives lost. I think her mom just seems "strict" maybe because of noble lady upbringing? Because near the end of the story, her mom burst into tears after Eki reunited with them and she even had girl talk with Eki about Yurien which was super cute
