I mtl few chapters (50-58) and it seems Martin will be engaged with another woman at some point and at the time, Lynn will get pregnant so she will try to escape since he expressed that he didn’t want an illegitimate child a night

I don't know why but Martin and Lynn remind me of Mathias and Layla

It seems that a lot of the early chapters up to the second part are very sad for one of the protagonists and that ML said in one of his monologues that he would continue with FL until he got sick of her.... there is a lot of criticism of him and how dragged out the plot has become.

I read ahead to ch 16 and they are already fucking. Very unusual to be spilling the gravy so early, but the artwork makes it so much hotter

 

Martin seems to have gone mad since her departure. He thought he would forget her but instead can’t forget her and feels irritation, frustration, anger since she left (broke his mirror lol). He investigated to find her but no results. Elizabeth had a dinner with her father and is meant to be married to some foreign noble instead of the one she wanted, the count (I forgot Thomas maybe??). She realised she can never have the love or attention of her father (good grief it was time )
I’m currently reading the novel so I will update as I read

 

Can somebody explain what's the deal with Elizabeth , I mean she seems pissed off because fl has blue eye and silver hair and also I'm curious about her ending.
