Somehow I feel the author introduced the demon world because the Hunter families are getting defeated and there are only one or two left and the author has to keep the plot going for a longer time

Anyway I think the Hunters are the centre of all these disparate groups of people.

So Cale focusing on the destruction of Hunters would be a big blow to the enemy.

    And the Virtual reality world

Did the author think about adapting ‘The Matrix’ genre into the TCF?

Imagine Cale just enters a virtual reality word download some chops and suddenly becomes master of martial arts

    Hunters :- Hey twig

Cale :- Him you should shut that mouth of your

    (After 2 min)

Hunters :- H-how are you a master of the martial arts whom your such a weak looking twig?!

Cale :- ( looking at the sky in awe) The wonders of technology are mysterious my dear hunter punching bag.

    ******
The whole thing has become too huge. Cale hundred percent will not be able to handle all of it on his own.

First of all he is not a hero and does not even want to be a hero.

Yes he wishes to save innocent people and protect those he considers precious but certainly not at the cost of what he considers important.

So if he wants to deal with multiverse level dilemma then he will have to built a largest Multi dimensional army in the history of the multiverse.

And command that army to deal with all kinds of irritating issues and focus on the Hunters and other more important matters.

    ******
    Multi dimensional army

Commander :- Cale [ ironically the weakest ]

Sub commander :- God of death, God of Hope, God of protection, God of Fire, wolf god and hundreds of other transcendental beings who are capable enough to handle important campaigns across the multiverse

Colonel :- The worlds like Jungwon, Xiaolen, world tree and other pseudo transcendental beings

Lieutenant:- Choi Han, Lee soo Hyuk, Choi Jung Soo, Tasha, Witria, Mary, etc and other powerful warriors nearing the stage of demigod status

Foot soldiers :- Assasins from the Molan family, Flinn merchant guild, The Company, the priestess and churches and priests etc and hundreds of other powerful forces in the mortal worlds who will act as the eyes and ears of Cale Heintuse.

    ****
Cale he is more a General or Shogun who certainly leads the battle but is more of a commander who uses the skills of others to win battles and wars. For him fighting isn’t a duel but battle and wars and so he is the mindset of a general leading an army of hundreds of Multi talented people rather than a lone knight.

    ****
Cale failing to predict the Orsena destruction isn’t exactly his fault he was not focused on the family.

In a way it was Zed’s fault because he had created an alliance with Cale they could have put their heads together and found a way to handle the Karin and the Orsena’s. Cale would have immediately sent mages/ assassins and powerful warriors to deal with the Orsenas and hunters invading Roan through the duchy. But Zed decided to take on everything by himself which is the biggest folly Cale warns against.

Cale certainly hurts sacrifices, but only in the most important moments in order to protect people who are important to him. but he never takes on all the burden by himself, because he knows very well that he will fail alone no matter how powerful he is

    ******
Choi Han, Lee Soo Hyuk, Rosalyn, Witria etc all of them are certainly heroes

But Cale is not a Hero, Cale is more than that He is a ‘Leader’. A person who leads and guides people heroes and commoners alike.

You can also call him a ‘Sage King’.
He fights wars but also looks after his own people.

    About the Orsena youngest child.

I don’t think Cale will be able to do much for her personally since he is not a therapist. He himself is broken so how can he help another broken person fix themselves.

It would be better if he entrusts the the child’s care to the dark elves like Tasha or Mary or even Hannah. She will probably feel more comfortable with them because all of them have gone through traumas of loosing their family and live downs at a very young age through violent events and being rejected by society as freaks. They will be able to empathise and help the Orsena child recover better than Cale who is always busy and is himself broken

    ******
A leader and a hero are very different

Soldiers are war heroes in the army but do they lead the country?

Whereas a leader can be a good guy or bad guy., Benevolent or cruel. Wise or foolish, Heoric or villainous, brave or cowardly, competent or incompetent etc.

Whereas a Hero is defined in narrow terms of idealism leaders are beyond that they idealistic, pragmatic as well as dystopian definitions of the leader.

A hero can be defined but a leader cannot be defined.

    Are they someone who leads?
    Someone who rules?
    Someone who guides?
    Someone who dominates ?

You need not be a leader to be a hero and you need not be a hero to be a leader.

I would say Cale is more of a leader.

He has taken inspiration but has rejected the path of a Hero.

He should probably find his own path as a Leader. Because every leader is different

Applying Indian aesthetic theory for story writing and telling to LCF
    —————-

I was reading Indian aesthetic theory and I came across something very relatable and interesting

In Indian asthetics and writing theory ‘enjoyment’ is the most important. The work can be instructive but most instructive aspects of a work are incidental.

So there are two main concepts

Bhava :- It the emotional state of mind of the characters or actors in a play

Rasa :- It is the aesthetic experience which arises out of viewing the story

Both bhava and Rasa of many many types

Grief, anger, bliss etc are different bhavas

Action, mystery, cyberpunk are like different Rasa

    Rasa is developed from bhava

When the bhava/emotion interacts with the plot which is the cause and consequence of the bhava we get Rasa or asethuc experience.

So it essenatial to combine both Rasa and bhava to create a sastifying experience

Bhava (emotion) + Plot and cause and consequence of the bhava/emotion = Leads to the experience of Rasa ( Asethetic experience).

Rasa or having an asethtic experience is different from having an emotional reaction.

    Eg scenario

You go and see a play about the life and suffering a well known person along with said person,s spouse.

When you see the play you have ananasthetic experience of seeing the tostadas depict the sufferings the character goes through. However the spouse of the character being played on stage has an emotional reaction.

You are unable to understand and try to make the spouse understand that this was just a play and their beloved was no suffering. However the spouse keeps having an emotional reaction.

    **

So the ultimate aim is to develop a bhava (emotional state of character or just emotion) with the plot elements to eventual create an aesthetic exprience or Rasa

Just For example I will show you two different descriptions of the saem scenario

    • The Cats are kidnapped and Cale tracks down the kidnappers and gets his cat back

    • The Cats are kidnapped and Cale feels anger, agony and self loathing in failing to protect his children. He swears revenge and embarks on ‘Taken style’ rescue mission along with his equally furious knight Choi Han. Both promise to release a wave of fury and wrath on the kidnappers so terrible that no one would dare touch their children again. Lots of explosion, violence, explecitivies, gore, ,chaos, destruction and touching family moments

If you look at it the second description probably is more enjoyable and satisfying. The first description simply increases tension while the second description delivers something more akin to enjoyment and aesthetic experience.

So developing every chapter from the bhava (emotion or emotional state of character ) and its interaction with the plot will bring a bigger layer of aesthetic enjoyment for the readers of LCF

    The Dragon Letao character sketch
    ————

So the dragon Letao is kind of like ‘The Warden of Despair’ He is the reluctant prison of the Beast-kin He belongs to species of protectors but instead of saving beast Kin is condemning them to the gallows For there is nothing in this world he loves more than his daughter. Not the people of his world, not the dragon species, not God and certainly not himself His daughter thinks he is a cool saviour a hero and is living in blissful ignorance in the house of her Uncle ‘Dragon God Ryan’ as a hostage. She thinks he is a hero in the frontline but he is nothing more than a sinner in reality He takes pity on Young Beast children who remind of his own daughter and tries to help them escape. Ryan knows but allows it only to capture them again and kill then in front of letao to show him the consequences of diobeying him. And the fate that awaited his daughter if he did so Of course there are some children who do manage to escape. And he takes that as a form of repetance for his sins. However he is believes he will never be forgiven and is destined to be cast to the deepest part of hell for his sins. But he does not care if the heavens curse or strike him down with its harshest punishment. The only thing he cares for is the happiness of his daughter. And for that he is ready to sacrifice his own dragon hood His life was a series of failures He could n’t stop the rise of the dragon lord, could not protect the Beastkin and humans, could not protect his friend and could not protect his own wife. He was a failure through and through. However for him the only true light his only succees was his own daughter. When he lost everything she was what he had. He found her so precious that he vowed to protect his daughter no matter what he had to sacrifice. Even if he had to become a demon/the devil

    The Bhava of Despair
    ————

When a writer or storyteller understand the nature of a bhava better they are able to give a better aesthetic experience leading to deeper enjoyment of the story by the reader

Elaborating on the Bhava of Despair
    ————

The Bhava of despair is a profound and complex emotional state characterized by feelings of hopelessness, sorrow, anguish, and disillusionment. It is a deeply introspective and existential experience that arises from a sense of loss, failure, or overwhelming adversity. Here's a detailed exploration of the Bhava of despair:

    1. Hopelessness and Helplessness: Despair often manifests as a pervasive feeling of hopelessness and helplessness, where individuals feel powerless to change their circumstances or find relief from their suffering. It can stem from external factors such as loss, trauma, or adversity, as well as internal struggles with self-doubt and existential questions.

    2. Sorrow and Grief: Despair is accompanied by intense feelings of sorrow and grief, as individuals mourn the loss of what once brought them joy, fulfillment, or meaning. This can include the loss of loved ones, dreams, aspirations, or a sense of purpose, leading to a deep sense of emotional pain and longing.

    3. Anguish and Torment: Despair can manifest as a profound sense of anguish and torment, where individuals grapple with overwhelming emotional pain and inner turmoil. This may involve feelings of regret, guilt, or shame over past actions or decisions, as well as a sense of inadequacy or failure in meeting one's own expectations or societal standards.

    4. Disillusionment and Nihilism: Despair often involves a profound sense of disillusionment and nihilism, where individuals question the meaning or value of life and existence. It can lead to a loss of faith in oneself, others, or the world at large, as well as a sense of existential emptiness or futility in the face of suffering and adversity.

    5. Loneliness and Isolation: Despair can be accompanied by feelings of loneliness and isolation, where individuals feel disconnected from others and the world around them. This can stem from a lack of social support or understanding, as well as a sense of alienation or estrangement from oneself and one's own emotions.

    6. Existential Angst and Dread: Despair often involves a profound sense of existential angst and dread, where individuals grapple with the fundamental questions of existence, mortality, and the nature of reality. This can lead to existential crises or spiritual struggles as individuals confront the inherent uncertainty and impermanence of life.

    7. Resignation and Acceptance: Despair may ultimately lead to a sense of resignation and acceptance, where individuals come to terms with their suffering and find a sense of peace or surrender in the face of adversity. This can involve letting go of unrealistic expectations or attachments, as well as finding meaning and purpose in the midst of despair.
Overall, the Bhava of despair is a deeply human and universal experience that touches upon the depths of the human psyche and spirit. It is a complex and multifaceted emotional state that encompasses a range of feelings and experiences, from profound sorrow and anguish to existential questioning and acceptance. Despite its inherent darkness and pain, despair can also serve as a catalyst for growth, self-discovery, and transformation, leading individuals on a journey towards greater resilience, wisdom, and inner peace.

I think this arc main focus will be Roan, lock, DHB and Clopeh. Man Clopeh never got the chance to shine. But translation updates are so slow. Eatapplepies are chapter 169 and they do only 2 per week.

Different school of villain characterisation which can be used in LCF story
    ————-

Villains in fiction can be portrayed in various ways, each with its own nuances and approaches. Here are some common schools of villain characterization:

    1. The Pure Evil Villain: This type of villain is irredeemably evil, often motivated by a desire for power, destruction, or chaos. They have no redeeming qualities and exist solely to oppose the protagonist.

    2. The Tragic Villain: These villains have a backstory or circumstances that make their actions understandable, if not justifiable. They may have been wronged or suffered greatly, leading them down a dark path.

    3. The Anti-Villain: Anti-villains have noble intentions or goals but use morally questionable means to achieve them. They may believe that the end justifies the means, making them a complex and morally ambiguous character.

    4. The Ideological Villain: These villains are driven by a particular ideology or belief system that they are willing to enforce at any cost. They see themselves as righteous and may even believe they are the hero of their own story.

    5. The Sympathetic Villain: These villains evoke empathy or sympathy from the audience due to their relatable struggles or motivations. Despite their villainous actions, audiences may find themselves rooting for them or understanding their perspective.

    6. The Chaotic Villain: Chaotic villains thrive on unpredictability and mayhem. They disrupt the status quo simply for the sake of chaos, making them formidable opponents who are difficult to reason with or understand.

    7. The Manipulative Villain: These villains excel at manipulation and deception, using their intelligence and charisma to achieve their goals. They often operate behind the scenes, pulling the strings and orchestrating events to their advantage.

    8. The Redeemable Villain: Villains in this category are capable of change and redemption. Through the course of the story, they may undergo a transformation, turning away from their villainous ways and seeking redemption.
Each of these approaches offers writers different avenues for exploring themes, conflicts, and character development in their stories.

I wonder whether Letao is a helicopters parent. After Cale frees them form Ryan I wonder whether will be fussing over every little thing

Is she getting her protein? Telling the kids to play with her? Keeping a 24/7 hidden surveillance regularly teaching etc

The dragons of Aipotu seems to be genuinely powerful

They almost seem equally as good as white star and his entourage.

Actually I want some Hunter to be genuinely impressed with his Cale defeated the white star. And just be like defeating two Hunter families is actually beneficial for them and not a big deal

I imagine that when someone asks Letao what he will do about his daughter’s wings. And that now she would never be able to become a powerful special dragon.

He would rebuke them by saying

‘ls not being powerful or special wrong? Is it a crime?’

‘It does not matter if my daughter never becomes powerful or special’

‘Because in my eyes she is already the most special person in the universe. The first time I held her after she hatched from her egg. I thought to myself that she was the most beautiful and wonder child I had ever seen. The fact that such a wonderful child was born into this world. That is enough for me to dedicate my life to the well being of my daughter. And even then she has immense talent and has overcome her wingless state with her attribute ‘Fly’ “

Reverand Insanity, maybe you should consider starting a blog for sharing your thoughts? Perhaps you're not aware, but the author is Korean and will not come across your advice. 6 months ago I visited this topic to see discussions and read opinions, but I found myself scrolling through numerous sometimes inconsistent messages from you.
