    Sup, just a few days ago ransomware attacked over 100 countries with a virus that encrypt all the files in any system fucking things up for everyone, from normal households to even the public security, hospitals, banks. This hasnt happened to me thanks my luck but it would seem that the virus starts once you open an email and from some popups.
    Here is the news, hopefully none of the translators attacked (What? im honest XD), BEWARE OF YOUR EMAILS, Also update your computer system and get an antivirus.

    Yeah I heard about this from my lil bro some days ago. he said that supposedly it was because of some bug NSA had found that microsoft had missed. So they were developing some tool or whatever that got leaked, and voila...

    Though of course I've got no idea.

    most likely they are passing as an important email such as security messages a promo or such things, like an email from your bank saying your credit card was stolen or something, a lot of people fall from this

    windows who havent updated via the april version, and some team who hacks hacks like this resloved it by modifying the code. apprenlty it had a kill switch where it checks if the websight for the code is alive or not. if not it locks if it is active it removes or unlocks itself

    for personally stuff, almost never. it's all about real time communications. the only time email is relevant is when you have to work remotely with people in different time zone or different schedule as you.

    If you open an email from an unknown sender, download a file and then even run a script because the file tells you to, then you are a humongous idiot who should stay away from the internet.
