      @CreativeCriticalThinker didn't think about the isekai cliche from that perspective. Now that I think about it, I too agree with your opinion on this matter.
      Sadly nowadays I'm getting drifted away from these cliches so I have lesser and lesser reads. Maybe I have reader's block? I just put everything on hold except for "like wind on a dry branch" lol. I joined the cult of greenflag lovers because of this and now red flags give me chills. Any reccs??

      @your crush I could be very wrong but I would argue that Japenese Isekai is more weird, childish and has more light hearted elements, while South Korean Isekai tends to be more melodramatic, edgier and having more misery porn vibe.
      Both can be very bizarre, toxic, crazy, wacky, convoluted and conservative.
      The convenient Heroine in any Romance Genre always has to endure + suffer for the ML more than anyone else, no matter what.

      @CreativeCriticalThinker rather than differences, I find many similarities between them like in time reversal/villainess isekai troupe, fl is a bitch before turning back time because of bad upbringing, basically worships her fiance and her fiance leaves her for another chick.
      In reincarnation troupe, the fl either wants to get away from the og ml and the og ml finds her "interesting" and then they somehow get together or- fl ends up with some 2nd ml or something in the og novel.
      What do you think about it?? Do you find the differences? I find similarities more. Like every plot has been copy pasted but we are still invested in it cuz why not? Hot bois, pretty and sparkly art and us being converted to being sucker for cliches.
