El Niño

I understand a little Spanish, "El Niño" means " a little boy", however, El Niño refers to the above-average sea-surface temperatures that periodically develop across the east-central equatorial Pacific. El Niño conditions can cause a wide range of health problems, including disease outbreaks, malnutrition, heat stress, and respiratory diseases.
