I'm just making a post here now to formally announce that I have dropped Betrayal of Dignity. The main reason is that Manta has officially localized the novel and it's actually a very good translation. There are some errors here and there, but honestly the Tapas translations have more errors. I encourage everyone to go and read the official translation over there.
There is a bit of a bigger paywall than their normal subscription, so I understand that it might not be as accessible as the rest of their things--but it's well worth the price.
If there is that much demand for me to go and translate the rest, I may consider it--but since the official localized version is good on its own I would feel bad. And, no, I will not be scanning them and posting them elsewhere. I'm not really in the business of scanalation (though I have no ill will towards people that are). I just wanted to start translating because a lot of great titles don't have an official English translation.
