And I can't really blame them, rice is cheaper, it's normal to eat plenty, otherwise, I'd end up spending way too much on the actual tasty stuff.

And stealthily loaded with calories. Y'know when you finish off more bowls of rice than expected when the entree's good? That's when it all goes to hell and they start raging at the chef. *sigh* There's no winning with women logic.

If you ever find something as cheap as rice, that fills up the stomach well, is somewhat tasty, is easily available, and not bad for health aside from having some calories, please do enlighten me, I'm all ears.

Usually, my lunch is 1/2 rice + beans, 1/2 actual tasty stuff, and I doubt I'll ever change it if I don't win the lottery... Considering that I never play it, you can guess what I expect for my lunch for a lifetime.

calories aren't a problem

all you have to do is use them all~
if they will get fat no matter what they eat if they eat more than they use.

 

OOC: Problem is that burning them cost a lot of time... Not everyone wants to spend that time exercising.

 

Hmmmm... might I suggest brown or black rice? Not sure how much that costs where you're at though.
