“T-Thank you...”
The girl wanders around looking for bartenders yet fails to find one. Fortunately she catches the smell of a delicious fillet of fish, places a few coppers and takes it, hoping no one will find out.

She returns with a filled stomach, hoping to find a spot to scratch her nails, and a human lap to nap on

 

Valuren nods, smiling with eyes closed - tilting his head to the side. He took a glance to see his surroundings, he gazed back to find Arawn's eyes.

Veri says, "Arawn, my Valuren would like to ask of you a question."

 

Arawn notices Lethe who, luckily, doesn't appear to have changed forms again. He raises his hand in greeting.

"Hey, Lethe!" he smiles. "It's been awhile, hasn't it?"

He extracts some snacks and presents it to the food-loving rabbitkin. "Do you want some?" he asks.

 

"Ask away," Arawn says. "I'll try to answer it if I can."

 

Yane's head suddenly snaps to attention, and he quickly and intensely examines the patrons of the tavern, one by one, before letting out a soft sigh of what appears to be relief. He turns to the one who greeted him earlier... Arawn was his name?

"Hey, 'Scuse me, but you seem to know the way things work around here better than I do. Is there a stable or somewhere near here that I could spend the night in, for the time being? I promise not to scare the horses too much"

Xionlige interjects, “M-Me too! I’ll just need a corner to sleep in...I-I’ll even catch the rats for you!”

 

He points toward the empty chair next to him, looking at him whether he wanted to have a seat or not.

He also points at the empty board, wondering about what does the purpose of having an empty board.

"My, he got a good amount of questions, for a shy one." Veri giggled at Valuren's point and ask attitude.

 

"Fiddly da, fiddly dee, stab a fish and dinner's free~"

Elaine entered the tavern while humming a weird song, waving to a certain Arawn.

 

Xionlige’s ears perked up, “F-Fish!? You have some!?”

 

"Aye, I do! Freshly caught this morning~"

 

"Mhmm. Long time." Lethe offers, somewhat distracted by the snacks.

Scrambling onto an adjacent seat, he then accepted the snacks that had been presented and began to munch.

In the midst of his munching, Lethe looked at the other adventurer who was already in conversation with Arawn. He really gave off some serious napping vibes...

"Nap?" Lethe asked to confirm his suspicion.

Also hearing a question that he for once knew the answer to, Lethe tossed out two responses: "Tavern or Black Bat Bar & Inn. Maybe 'thers?"

 

Arawn hums in thought before replying.

"I don't know of any stables near the tavern," he says. "But there should be one closer to the outskirts of town. You might be able to get lodgings there. Alternatively, if you have some money, you can stay the night at an inn."

Arawn looks to Lethe for any more options.

Arawn takes the seat and looks at the board.
"Well... I'm honestly not too sure," he admits. "I've never really thought to ask."

Arawn waves back at a certain Elaine.

 

Yane looks over at the... cat thing, only just realizing it had talked.
"I think I can handle a couple of paltry rats myself." He announced.
"Might even make a shoddy meal out of it, too" He then muttered under his breath.

He stood and strode over to the feline and reached his hand out to shake.

"I'm Yane, what do they call you?"

 

"Huh?" Arawn asks. "Nap?" He looks between Lethe and Valuren in confusion, not quite understanding the question.

 

Meanwhile, an errant Elaine had produced a feather from god knows where, and started tickling the little bunny (@WhitesRabbit48) with it. For what reason? None.

 

“C-Can you give me some? I’ll catch a few rats for you, nyan! “

“ Ah, Y-Yes, you look very soft and fluffy nyan! C-can I borrow you lap....? Thanks for recommending the tavern nya, I’ll buy you a few sardines later!”

“Ah, Um...I’m called the famous cute kawaii Neko....Ah, um, no, X-Xionlige! That’s my name nyan!”
She replied all flustered

 

Valuren shakes his head, but still smiled for his answer.

"He wanted to befriend you, I overheard that you're called Lethe? Hello, we're V." A female voice can be heard from Valuren.

She added. "He's Valuren, I'm Veri."

Valuren also gestured to the person whether they wanted to have a seat with him as he puts down his backpack on the tavern's floor.

"Oh, he was wondering about the empty board. He can't seem to really read the writings but he remembers how to write them well." She speaks as Valuren giving a gaze toward the person Arawn just waved at.

 

"This thing I just wish to kick it and send it flying through the skies. I wonder if I can actually do that?" Kathicia ponders from the ceiling.

 

"Ah, I ate it all...I can always show you were to catch them, though. And for the issue of looking for a house...Why not just camp outside the city?"

 

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Xionlige."

Yane turns to the person who just entered.
"I know it's a stretch, but you wouldn't happen to have any of those still flopping around alive, now would you?"
