"I should stop with the references... I am sorry for that... Anyway, Gaap, yup, Ga~ap.", sometimes, he wondered why he had such a blabbering mouth.

"Mhhhnnnn... Try saying Ga and Ap, separately then mix it maybe? Ga. Ap? Maybe it might work this way?", the receptionist honestly never bothered with pronunciation of his name until now.

"Indeed, and that will be a historical moment, to see the ascension of a god, that's why we need to spread this information, so people will be able to record history in front of their own eyes.", obviously, it was just to shame Jack, nevertheless, details aren't that important. These are unnecessary or so he thought.

 

Lykke tries a few times more without success, even though she has no problem with others so far. "........Can I call you Gååp?"

"I see..." The girl nodded seriously to Gaap's words.

 

"Yeah, that's fine, as long as it's not too deformed, you can call my name how you want to.", Gaap seemed to be a bit happy because of Lykke who was seriously trying to say his name properly, or so he thought.

"Alrighty, anyway, do you want something to drink or eat? I will pay, I don't really use my money recently anyway.", albeit, recently is "months".

 

"Is that alright?" The girl asked, half doubting if the man can effort it.

 

"I got Jack's many rents in my pocket, everything is fine.", the receptionist seemed proud as he said that... Should he be?

 

You do know the amount you aren't returning to the guild is being discounted from your salary, right?

 

Lykke turned speechless for a moment, decided it was better to not voice her thoughts and said:
"I... I can pay for my share."

 

"That's called the intermediary's privile-", Gaap coughed once.
"Anyway, jokes asides... I do know that, that's why I am not getting paid anymore.", he nodded to himself. It is totally not as if he was too lazy to return the money to the guild, totally not, he isn't like that, is he?

"That's fine, I can pay, I have some savings I will probably never use after all. So, might as well pay you something while I feel like it!"

"Mhmmmm... what about chicken pasties?", Gaap asked and well didn't say much more as he wished to see if she knew or not.

OOC: While that might seem odd... chicken pasty was indeed a recipe from medieval time...

"Is that... a dish or...pasty?"

 

"Well, I would say a dish as for me... but that's like pancakes, there are salted pancakes and sugary pa-... ah, right, pancakes don't exist here... or I never heard of it.", Gaap sighed and wondered about how to explain.

"Err... that's like those plates that seem like they are just... deserts, but are in fact salty..? I suppose..?"

 

"Are you saying Chicken Pastries, is just salty pancakes...?"

 

"No no, not really... I would say that it can be both a dish or a appetizer... As in, you can eat it just for... well, like this, like snacks between meals or a complete meal. Like pancak- wait, where did you hear about pancakes?", Gaap asked rather surprised, he never heard of pancakes since he came here, dozen of years ago.

"Oh right, before shifting on that subject, do you want to try some chicken pastries or something else?"

 

"I... try the chicken pasties then." Lykke still only know, that it's some kind of pancake.
