This is truly bad, an addiction becomes damaging when it starts hurting family and friends relationships. I understand how you feel but getting angry over it is bad.
I thought I wasn't as addicted but apparently I am, everytime my phone dies I get restless/mood change if I don't read novel, manga, watch anime, play some game, or listen to music. Music is the most important factor to my mood changes, usually I would calm down but without it I get annoyed faster
This shit is my escape from real world bullshit, stress, problems and anything that could affect me. I ALWAYS have my phone with me in anywhere i go to the point that i hate the world and everything in it if i don't have my phone (this includes the bathroom). As long as it's with me then i feel safe and secure. My best buddy ever since my family broke apart(told you it was my escape from reality).
Rather than the device it's what i do on it. And if I can do without them it's more than welcome~ Cause most I do is read, listen to music, and if I can do what I do in game I'd be happy~ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The first option discribes my dilemma oh too well. can't say it differently, maybe I can: It's to the point, where living without would be unbearable
Hmm. I think the term "addiction" is a strong one. I think the reason most older generations don't understand our obsession with electronic devices is because they haven't had the chance to understand and use them. The devices are another part of life, an extension of ones self to connect and socialise, it's natural when you think of it, we're social creatures and the unlimited opportunities to socialise is just one of the few benefits of the internet and electronic devices.
i like my internet!...but i can part with it if i'm busy or on vacation xD (but i would still want to check up on things)
If I have a replacement then I don't mind, like having endless amount of books and stories around, or doing something useful. But, because I don't really have a life now and all of my stuff are on my pc or phone, nope.
I'm addicted to my phone. Use it to do pretty much everything. I also just got a new PS4 so that's slowly taking over my life too
