    Oh Sovieshit...
    Remarried empress was the first manwa I read and damn... I was shocked to see one of the lead being a cheater.

    As I read your spoilers, it seems that trash Emperor was, indeed, not the worst husband material (ML from the Mistress will run away and the husband from the abandonned empress will not return are much worse from exemple).
    He reminds me of Lucio from Lady to Queen (trauma + another woman he loved) and the ML from There are times I wish you were dead (huge, huge trauma for ML who has been kidnapped by FL's father when he was young and he can't separate the daughter from the father since they look so much alike physically).

    It's hard to hate that kind of people even you want to hit them or strangle them because...well... they also are victims.
    But that doesn't excuse their shitty attitude.

    1. The Uncle of the Emperor, the tittle is Duke
    2. The mistress of emperor and her brother
    3. Adele's mother who don't like her authority being challenge by her daughter.
    4. The Emperor him self.

    Yes, at least he never took the mistress side when she done something wrong or humiliate and insulted the FL publicly, he didn't come for the first night was understandable, it was an arranged marriage by his uncle afterall, but even before he fall for the FL, he only want a kids from the Empress not the mistress. The novel was around 100chapter, so it was quite fast faced and focus on the political battle rather than the romance, there is no dog fight 'Wife Vs Mistress' either, the mistress think she offended the FL by demanding a special care during the banquet but the FL replied that's to be expected since she is pregnant and all, she even asked her if the morning sickness was too severe since she was too skinny and to take care of herself, something even her brother or the Emperor never pay attention to.

    When the rebel under the ML surrounded the royal palace, the mistress give him a poisoned wine then she announced his death by ringing the tower bell, then she kill herself. The Grand Princess (Emperor half sister) took the throne and change the law to allow woman to inherit the throne.

    I'm the only one that think that the emperor have a afair that envolve s.ex, with a woman that remeber him of his mother is extremely creep!!! Its like he's f*cking his own mother.. its soo disgusting!!! for me of course...

    The bar is so low for the 2nd ML. I'm sorry but a trash cheating husband with a sad past is still cheating trash...

    Anywhoo hope the FL doesn't end up with him, I also hope that she won't spend the rest of her life having to bow down to him and the concubine because of the ML's lower status.
