As I can't access the manhwa raws nor have I rea/MTLd the novel, I'm curious what's with the discussion of MC running away? In the main plot or her bg story of the old body? Other than questionable factors specifically her being a commoner, wasn't the bg info she was presumably a kind hearted woman in reputation set to marry a fat old lord for gaining his interest? Marrying a viscount's son for me isn't that hard to believe though, I can think of 2 series (unless I remember it wrong) that had similar scenarios from the MCs mothers - Princess's doll shop (where the Viscount himself persuaded his parents) - The reason Ophelia can't leave the duke's family (more sinister version). It's just good looking women using good looks. To go even further, I can think of another hypertensive series of a mother-daughter cult like duo who inserted themselves in a duke's family as a bg story (I just forgot the title)
So according to what I read Spoiler: MC I'm not 100% but it seems Lila was abused by the owner of the childcare center in Og novel. She couldn't cope with trauma and so she redirected her pain and trauma on Hir.

Also who is the Baron Blake (or whatever his name is)? The one who was at the party and the MC felt a strange feeling towards him and they both felt like recognising each other. Is he maybe MC’s past father? Like the abusive father who died of the oven explosion too?
I have my doubts about the Duke and the child. Hir is a mini version of the Duke, from what I saw in the manga, Hir doesn't look anything like his biological father.

Quite a strange manna. All possible stupid clichés are collected. The heroine herself is also stupid. Her situation looks something like this: let's get married, I'll dump my child on you and ride off into the sunset. How was she going to catch a spy with bare hands, without having a black belt in karate or any other martial arts? She didn't even take any security with her. The author really missed the point here. It would be logical if she gave all the information to the Duke, where and how to catch the spy. What are these suicidal methods? How could the Duke fall in love so easily and immediately when only two days have passed and he is known for hating women? This is illogical!
Base on the novel, it stated Lila was a strong ring user. Emperor needed her to purify his ring to make him stronger. It seems like they knew each other prior to transmigration.
