I picked villian. Becoming a person who would invent a cure for cancer and completing a research of animal eared girls then get killed by the hero while publically announcing that i almost have been working on saving mankind from a terrifying monster.

Not only i died happily, i get the hero killed as well. Two for the price of regrets by the hero.

That was villain bro, villain are the embodiment of doing what you want and nobody can force you or change it. While being is full of restriction and you can't do anything you want, also some hero are a busybody like to interfere with other people bussiness.
Well the demerit of being a villain was ussually it potrayed to end up being killed by the hero, because they are too arrogant and think they can do everything like god.

Well it all depends, what kind of world is it? If it's in some kind of cliche novel world then ofc hero. If it's a realistic world then villain, and i would just do what i want and keep on the down low, like just steal shit and maybe kill someone.

Definitely Villain.
Heroes are just a bunch of goody 2-shoes hypocrites people, while those that be called "True" Heroes then are just a bunch of Naive Kids that only follow their own ideas without regard to others, because they think only their ideas are "Justice" or something. And they have somekind of images to keep or something.
Because of those aspects, I would rather be a Villain with "Freedom" without caring about anyone view towards me

 

Is chaotic neutral an option?
