I'll be a villain, Why? Because I will never do a good job for being either one. So, I'd rather being frowned/scolded upon for being a bad guy and fail. Than frowned/scolded upon trying to be a good guy and fail. ... ... ... And now I'm depressed...
Hero... Not wanting to boast my ego or wanting people to praise me for helping me but instead--- "No man chooses evil because it's evil; he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks." - Mary Wollstonecraft
It'd really depend on the circumstances. You can go around saving people, but that doesn't make you a hero if the people you were saving were going to go off and do horrible things after you left or the manner in which you saved them caused chaos to society that inconvenienced everyone. You can go around breaking laws and causing chaos, but you'd still be flauted as a hero by the people if those laws you were flauting were used to oppress and torment the populace. Reguardless, I think it'd all depend on if you have awesome abilities. Being a superhero or villain would mean nothing if you died quickly and couldn't enjoy it.
I mean, hero I guess. But I'm not actually the righteous type and probably won't try very hard to help many people. But villain is something that sounds completely pointless for me, so I guess through the process of elimination, I'm gonna be a hero.
im going for the hero because i dont want to live my whole life by hiding and chased down by government and my future kids can brag about their dad for being a hero.
You know, there aren't any stipulations being set on what it means to be a "hero" or "villain" and all of the responders seem to be basing their own answers off of their own preconceived notions about these definitions. I went with hero, since there's no definitive connection between being a hero and working for the government.
you are saying this in a biased perspective assuming that the villain is happy go lucky and free and a hero is a slave. why cant a hero be someone whos getting payed to protect while the villain is barely eating crusty bread to get by?
I just said a scenario you said one too, it could be either. I just didn't want to discredit any possibility when I replied.
The one by Cao Cao is just a bit different on the wording, "I'd rather betray the world than let the world betray me." - Cao Cao
A villain because I don't want all them damsels in distress with all them gold diggers and power seekers . Also it's a fact that hero's and their heroines bring trouble so the 'plot' can continue... I'd rather be a villain who doesn't get tied down for a shitty reason or is a stupid dense person. Also a villain sounds nicer xD *laughs evil heheh*
It all depends. If being a hero is an advantage for a time, I'll be a hero. However, I'm not a martyr. If a situation like that comes to be, then I'd become a villain. I'd mainly go with whatever suits me at the moment. Come to think of it, that state of thinking is like a villain.
Villain... being the hero is tiring. When a villain is vanquished, he's done but the hero needs to roam the place and fight multiple villains. A villain, however, never fights multiple heroes unless the situation calls for it.
It depends on the story, and depends on the mobility that I have to change history. I want to be the hero, since in many stories it is the one that always has an advantage, and it is still the one that has a good ending. But if I know I'm in a story and can change the future, villain. Of course, usually villains have more potential, and end up losing because of mistakes I will not make!
